Sangeeta at The Comedy on 18th September 2009
Just one day after seeing Jet at The Forum I headed to venue which holds barely 100 people, doesn’t really have a stage or proper lights! Saying that, serious improvements have been made at The Comedy Pub since the last time I was there. For starters, there are some lights now! With colour gels! I still decided to put my flashgun to one side of the stage add some extra light.
The venue was fairly empty until it was time for Sangeeta and band to go on stage. Suddenly lots of people appeared and the place started to fill up nicely. I spotted two other photographers as well but I think we managed to stay out of each others way OK.
Sangeeta’s music isn’t really my thing but seeing as I know the guitar player very well (so should you by now!), I promised I’d take some shots.
